GFN’s Antonio Gómez will present his PhD thesis on the quantification of the power sector in Spain. In his work, Antonio has estimated the potential, and costs, of most renewable energies in Spain (including on-shore and off-shore wind, PV and thermoelectric solar, biomass and biofuels), and has shown the possible economic and environmental impacts of several levels of renewable penetration in the Spanish Power system.
