GFN’s Dr Antonio Gómez has been granted the University of Zaragoza’s award to an outstanding PhD thesis (Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado) for his work on Renewable Energy and Energy Scenarios for Spain. The thesis, a remarkable exercise in rigorous quantification, has so far spawned more than 9 papers in international scientific journals.
